Additionally, 100.9 WIFM presents live high school Friday night football broadcasts, provides ABC News at the top of every hour, delivers full football coverage of the Carolina Panthers games and has contests every weekday (such as birthday calendar; whereas, someone wins a country ham from Foothills Meat Center).
The station also has presentations, such as “People Doing Good For Others”, which is hosted by Gary York, on Saturday mornings. “Neighbor of the Day”, sponsored by Bojangles of Jonesville, is presented each weekday morning. “Extension Today”, sponsored by Farm Bureau, is broadcast on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
During lunch, WIFM always serves up something special. Also, listen for “TV Theme Song Trivia” which is sponsored by Domino’s Pizza.
“Explore Elkin” is broadcast on Tuesday afternoons. “Elkin Valley Trails”, sponsored by Salem Oral Surgery, is broadcast on Thursday afternoons.
“Talking Tourism”, sponsored by Tourism Partnership of Surry, is broadcast on Thursday afternoons. “Spotlight on Surry Community College” is presented every Thursday at 5:05pm.
